Kevin in Liberia

Its Purpose: to raise awareness of current social, political, ethical, and spiritual issues within a relief and development context in Liberia. Its effectiveness is simple: It relies on me, the author, to provide insightful, and often debate-sparking material that will encourage you, the reader to get engaged through comment contributions, emails, and promoting others to read, re-think, and respond to the important issues discussed.

I know not which is most profitable to me, health or sickness, wealth or poverty, nor anything else in the world. That discernment is beyond the power of men or angels, and is hidden among the secrets of your Providence, which I adore, but do not seek to fathom. ~ a prayer by Blaise Pascal

Merry Christmas from Liberia

In a land far far away the Christmas season seems to be as BIG here as back home in North America...well, at least the commercial aspect of it. That said, I think it is necessary to wish a happy holiday season to everyone out in "blogland" and tell everyone that things are fairly quiet in Liberia and peace continues to reign. Lets hope the outlandish $1.3 million USD budget for Ellen Johnson Sirleaf's inaugeration ceremony in January does more good than harm for the people of Liberia.

    Hi, Kevin

Sweet- to get a comment from Choboter! I hope that all is well with him, too

Well, I think that we are all back to normal here. We went to see Eric and Dale last night and then tomorrow Russ' son Trevor comes into town. Then the next day we go to see some cousins of Russ' that he hasn't seen in a generation- should be fun

I'm glad that you have gorged yourself, because it seems to me that you have gotten a little thin. Trying to fit in, I guess (with the other folks there)

I still have 4 days of rest before going back to work- GTs

    See you later

    Momsie
